Now, before you follow this piece of advice, it does come with this warning: If done with a high amount of property, you will be earning far more than the property is actually worth, and will find your treasury beginning to overfill with gold. This means you will be earning 200% of the standard gold you would usually get. When you purchase property, one of the quickest ways to make money quickly, is to set the rent to the highest level possible. In order to get the best ending to the game, and save the majority of the population, you will need to start saving those pennies, and there are only a few tried and tested ways to make money quickly. Of course, becoming the overlord of a kingdom in disrepair is not going to be a walk in the park, and the main downside to enacting your power fantasy is the cost of keeping it all going. It has, arguably, the best first half of any of the main series games, and its second half allows you to literally become the Queen or King of Albion, making decisions that will greatly affect the physical landscape of the game. The third entry might not have been as critically acclaimed as Fable 2, or as in-depth as Fable 1, but it still holds a special place in the hearts of its players. With a new Fable game finally on the horizon, which will thankfully still be as lighthearted as the first three games, now is the perfect time to look back at the often-neglected entry in the series, Fable 3.
